Telegrpahic Order 13 June 1892 or 1893.
Palmer (1912) reports that
By telegraphic order of the Minister of Colonies under date of 13 June 1892 unused remainders of the dark violet impressos stamps were reissued and made available for postage along with the new issue of that date (i.e. those in green) as follows:
1m: 1,601,455
1/8 c: 3,167,556
2m: 801,255
Bartels et al (1904) notes the same except that the date of the order was given as 13 June 1893.
Details of the supporting documentation to the above notes are not currently known.
Postal usage in 1892 amd 1893
(note earlier postal usage in 1890 and 1891 of 1/8c, 2m and 5m are also known, and March or April 1892 usage of 2m)
